ROBUST AND WATER-TIGHT
The Dräger X-am 2000 is water and dust- resistant to IP 67. That means that the instrument remains fully functional and ready for use even after being dropped in water. The integrated rubber protection and shock-proof sensors ensure additional resistance to impact and vibration. Further- more, the Dräger X-am 2000 is able to with- stand electromagnetic interference.

GAS INLETS ON TWO SURFACES
The functional design ensures that gas can enter the instrument from the top and the front, so even if the Dräger X-am 2000 is accidentally put in a jacket pocket, it will still provide a reliable warning against gas hazards.

EXTERNAL PUMP
An optional external pump with up to 20 meters of hose can be used as the solution for applications such as confined space entry into tanks, pipelines, etc. When the instrument is placed in the cradle, the pump automatically starts. The change between diffusion and pump operation is quickly and easily possible without any need for additional tools or steps.
